This rustic private oasis getaway is the former private estate of the most famous New Orleans chef, Paul Prudhomme. Chef Prudhomme filmed his famous "farm to table" TV shows on the property where he gathered fresh herbs from his backyard and cooked up his New Orleans delicacies in his test kitchen where his recipes are now sold in over 50 countries around the world. Before Prudhomme, this historical compound was owned by the Walton Family of Walmart fame (the richest family in the world) and prior to the Waltons, owned by one of the founding fathers of Jazz Music, Papa Jack Laine.
